As a club we have been following developments of the Coronavirus very closely over the last week and have been working closely with the England Cricket Board (ECB) and Sport England. Following the government guidelines outlined yesterday evening and in particular refraining from any unnecessary social gatherings, we have made the decision to cancel all training sessions with immediate effect until this guidance is lifted.
We apologies for any inconvenience caused but the health and safety of all our players, coaches and parents is paramount.
Meetings with leagues at both senior and junior level have all been postponed and it looks extremely likely that the start of the season will not begin as planned. We will, as always, aim to keep you all fully up to date with any developments. Those players who are in district and county setups should follow the guidance presented to them by team managers.
Finally, we encourage all our members to keep themselves protected from the spread of the virus and follow all updated guidance from Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England.
